So... I tried using meetselect.com and the app, and it was annoying. Everything felt a bit clunky, pages were slow to load, and some buttons didn’t even work properly. I also had a hard time finding basic things, which made it feel unfinished. I ended up giving up after a while because it was more hassle than it was worth...

I signed up for Select mostly to test out the perks, though I wasn’t totally sure if I’d end up using it much. I found the benefit I wanted, clicked through, and the code worked right away, which surprised me a bit because I kept expecting there to be some extra step or catch.

I’ve had other memberships where redeeming anything turns into a whole thing, so maybe my expectations were just low, but this was smooth. I guess I’d say it’s nice when something actually works the way it’s supposed to.

I mean, I haven’t tested every little thing yet, but so far it feels like a good deal for the price. There are a couple small issues here and there, nothing major for me. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I wish the fees were explained a lot more clearly. I had to dig around to figure out what I was actually being charged for, which is a little ridiculous.

The other perks are solid too, not just random stuff I’d never use. I tried a dining credit and a gym trial, and both worked without any drama.

The site is easy enough to use, though I do think a few terms could be explained a little better. Still, for the quality of the discounts, I’m happy with it so far. Feels like it’s actually worth it.

I canceled. Or at least I thought I did. Then a charge still showed up on my card, which was super annoying. I reached out to support and just waited... and waited. Took way too long to hear back. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely frustrating.
